Welcome to ShareHK! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you and ShareHK (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our Role: We are a Venue
ShareHK is an online marketplace that allows independent sellers (“Vendors”) to set up virtual storefronts and sell their goods and services directly to buyers.
No Involvement in Transactions: We do not manufacture, store, or inspect the items sold through our platform. We are not involved in the actual transaction between buyers and sellers.
Direct Payments: Payments are made directly from the buyer to the Vendor (e.g., via PayPal). ShareHK does not process, hold, or guarantee these payments.
No Guarantee: We cannot guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of the items advertised, the truth or accuracy of Vendor listings, or the ability of buyers to pay for items.
2. Vendor Account
To operate a store on ShareHK, you must register for a Vendor account.
You must be 18 years or older to operate a Vendor store.
You are responsible for all activity on your account and for keeping your password secure.
You must provide accurate and up-to-date information.
3. Vendor Rules & Responsibilities
If you register as a Vendor on ShareHK, you agree to the following:
Fees: ShareHK charges a flat annual management fee. We charge 0% commission on your sales. This annual fee is non-refundable once the store is activated.
Compliance with UK Law: You are an independent business. You are entirely responsible for your own customer service, shipping, returns, and compliance with all applicable UK laws, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (which grants buyers a statutory 14-day right to cancel most online purchases) and the UK GDPR.
Accurate Listings: Your shop policies, shipping times, and item descriptions must be clear and accurate.
4. Customer (Buyer) Rules & Responsibilities
If you use ShareHK to browse or purchase items, you agree to the following:
Purchasing from Independent Sellers: You acknowledge that you are purchasing directly from an independent Vendor, not from ShareHK. Each Vendor has their own processing times, shipping methods, and refund policies.
Respectful Communication: You agree to communicate respectfully with our Vendors. Harassment, abusive language, or threatening behavior via our inquiry system will result in immediate account suspension.
Honest Reviews: You may leave reviews for items you have purchased. Reviews must be honest, based on your actual experience, and must not contain discriminatory, abusive, or promotional content.
5. Prohibited Items and Content
ShareHK is a trusted community platform. Vendors may not use our platform to sell, and customers may not use our platform to request:
Illegal items, highly regulated items, or hazardous materials.
Counterfeit goods or items that infringe on intellectual property rights (copyrights, trademarks).
Items that promote hate, violence, or discrimination.
6. Quality Control, Feedback, and Account Termination
To protect the reputation of our community, ShareHK actively monitors platform quality.
Customer Complaints: If a buyer reports a serious issue with a service or product, ShareHK will notify the Vendor and request that they resolve the issue directly with the buyer.
Right to Terminate: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any Vendor or Customer account at our sole discretion for violating these Terms, engaging in fraudulent behavior, or severe misconduct.
7. Dispute Resolution
Between Buyer and Seller: If a dispute arises regarding an order, the buyer and seller must resolve it directly with each other or through their payment provider (e.g., PayPal). ShareHK is not responsible for issuing refunds, managing returns, or mediating disputes.
With ShareHK: Any disputes arising from these Terms will be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
8. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShareHK (and our officers, directors, and agents) shall not be liable for any lost profits, data loss, or incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising out of your use of our services or any items purchased through our platform.
9. Data Protection & Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of your personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy, which complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). By using ShareHK, you consent to the processing of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

To facilitate account creation and logon process.
To manage Vendor accounts and process annual subscription fees.
To enable user-to-to-user communications (e.g., buyer inquiries to Vendors).
To send administrative information, such as updates to our Terms and Conditions.
To improve our platform, monitor analytics, and ensure the security of our website.
3. How We Share Your Information
We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations.
With Vendors (For Buyers): When you interact with or purchase from a Vendor on ShareHK, that Vendor receives the necessary information (such as your name, shipping address, and email) to fulfill your request or order. Note: Vendors are independent independent Data Controllers and are responsible for handling your data legally.
With Service Providers: We may share your data with third-party vendors who perform services for us (e.g., payment processing, email delivery, hosting services).
Legal Obligations: We may disclose your information where we are legally required to do so in order to comply with applicable law, governmental requests, a judicial proceeding, or court order.
4. Use of Cookies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to access or store information, maintain your session, and improve your experience on ShareHK. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when websites set or access cookies.
