Connecting your Stripe account is essential to start receiving payments on ShareHK. We use Stripe Connect to ensure all transactions are secure and transparent.

- Email & Verification: Enter your email address. Stripe will send an SMS verification code to your mobile phone for security. [00:46]
2. Business Information [01:08] #
- Entity Type: Select “Solo Trader” if you are an individual seller, or “Registered Company” if your business is incorporated. [01:15]
- Personal Details: You must provide your legal name, date of birth, and an accurate residential address for identity verification. [01:32]
3. Business Profiles [03:08] #
- Website: Enter your personal business website or your dedicated ShareHK store URL (e.g.,
sharehk.co.uk/store/your-shop-name). [03:51]
4. Payout Settings (Crucial) [04:02] #
- Currency: Select GBP.
- Bank Details: Enter your UK Sort Code and Account Number.
- Important: We strongly recommend using a UK bank account for smooth payouts. International accounts may face processing delays or restrictions. [04:26]
5. Completion [05:35] #
Once you see the message “You are connected with Stripe,” your store is ready to accept payments! Funds from successful orders will be processed according to our payout schedule.
